Insidious is the twentieth thriller in #1 New York Times bestselling author Catherine Coulter's FBI series. FBI agents Savich and Sherlock must discover who is trying to murder Venus Rasmussen, a powerful, wealthy society icon. They soon find out that the danger may be closer than expected. Venus Rasmussen, a powerful woman who runs the international conglomerate Rasmussen Industries, believes someone is poisoning her. After Savich and Sherlock visit with her, someone attempts to shoot her in broad daylight. Who's trying to kill her and why? A member of her rapacious family, or her grandson who's been missing for ten years and suddenly reappears? Savich and Sherlock must peel away the layers to uncover the incredible truth about who would target Venus. Meanwhile, Special Agent Cam Wittier leaves Washington for Los Angeles to work with local Detective Daniel Montoya to lead the hunt for the Starlet Slasher, a serial killer who has cut the throats of five young actresses. When a sixth young actress is murdered, Cam comes to realize the truth might be closer than she'd ever want to believe. With breakneck speed and unexpected twists and turns, Coulter's Insidious will leave you breathless until the shocking conclusion.

The world’s most exclusive detective agency opens a new office-in Australia!
With the best detectives in the business, cutting edge technology and offices around the globe, there is no investigation company quite like Private. Now, at a glittering launch party overlooking the iconic Opera House, Private Sydney throws open its doors.
Craig Gisto and his newly formed team have barely raised their glasses, however, when a young Asian man, blood-soaked and bullet-ridden, staggers into the party, and what looks like a botched kidnapping turns out to be a whole lot more.
Within days the agency’s caseload is full. But it is a horrific murder in the wealthy Eastern Suburbs and the desperate search for a motive that stretches the team to the limit. Stacy Friel, friend of the Deputy Commissioner of NSW Police, isn’t the killer’s first victim-and as the bodies mount up she’s clearly not the last . . .

Sex sells...........Tawanna learned this early on in life and had been applying this knowledge to every aspect of her life ever since. Tawanna had no problem with using what she had in order to get what she wanted. Tawanna's daughter who was only fifteen years younger than her, was the complete opposite. Alie wanted nothing from anyone. She believed that hard work was the thing that got you to the top. Alie was an up and coming R&B singer whose career had risen earlier, but was now stuck at a stand still. Tawanna played a big part in getting Alie to the point she was at today by having sex with every person connected to the music industry that she could find, but even that failed to take Alie's career to that next level. All of that changed when Alie met a local superstar in the R&B world named Kendale. Meeting him turned out to be a blessing and a curse at the same time. Alie's career was sure to skyrocket after meeting him, but her relationship with her mother was threatened to become broken beyond repair.

Everybody wants something and everything has a price. This is the ultimate story of "everything not being what it seems when you're looking at it from the outside." In a world that's fueled by greed, treachery, lust, and deceit people tend to become STRAIGHT SCANDALOUS!
